OPLA is the largest legal program within the Department of Homeland Security, and OCMS serves as its central case management environment. Procentrix has supported the continued evolution of OCMS, including modernizing the platform and migrating it from on-premises infrastructure to the cloud.
This expanded effort encompasses Agile application development, data analytics, integration, user experience enhancements, operations and maintenance, and user support services. The work spans OCMS and related platforms and includes integrations with ICE and partner agency systems across cloud, hybrid, and on-premises environments.
“OCMS has evolved significantly over the years, and the next phase is about continuing to advance the platform as OPLA’s needs and the volume of data grow,” said Gregg Hawrylko, Vice President, National Security & Judiciary at Procentrix. “Our focus is on making information easier to find, understand, and use while continually improving the experience for the OCMS user community.”
This next phase of OCMS modernization creates opportunities to apply SI and automation to cognitive search, translation, and other workflows, while expanding analytics and business intelligence capabilities to drive greater operational efficiency.
“Our history with OCMS gives us a strong foundation to do more than simply maintain an existing system,” said Mike Hughes, CEO of Procentrix. “We will build on what our team has learned over years of supporting OPLA while bringing new technologies and ideas to the platform without sacrificing the stability and continuity a mission-essential system requires.”
The award adds to Procentrix’s portfolio of work under ICE SWIFT and its broader experience developing, modernizing, and sustaining enterprise case management, workflow, and operational applications for federal law enforcement organizations.
