Quality Assurance Analyst

Position Description

​​The QA Analyst will work with team members throughout quality assurance testing lifecycle within an Azure cloud and Microsoft Dynamics 365 development project team. The QA Analyst will support the development of effective and efficient testing methods, maintain documentation throughout the QA process, and communicate with development teams to provide a reliable, consistent, and positive end user experience. The QA analyst conducts rigorous testing throughout the development process, identifying potential issues and reporting them back to development teams, working with the team and with others in the organization to deploy updates, and resolve issues that arise during the QA testing process. Will assist with developing QA Processes and Procedures. Documents and outlines testing processes, generating use cases to ensure that testing captures the software or system’s functional requirements, and enacting test plans for new software products or updates to existing systems. Introduces and updates these processes in collaboration with team members. Provides feedback and coordinates Business Analysis process and improvements. Communicates and solicits feedback from stakeholders, product owners, analysts, release managers, developers, and architectural leads.

Required Skills

  • At least 4 years of experience in QA and Testing for large scale IT systems development programs
  • Experience establishing testing frameworks and processes for large scale IT programs
  • In depth experience creating test plans, test cases, and performing hands-on testing of IT applications
  • Strong knowledge of automated testing frameworks and tools

Desirable Skills

  • Previous experience on large IT modernization efforts for Federal Government
  • Experience developing performance metrics and status reports using Azure DevOps data, dashboards, and Power BI
  • Active Public Trust Background Investigation
