Microsoft Cloud Operations Manager

Position Description

This individual will be a key part of the modernization effort; ensuring that a seamless process integration is achieved from capability delivery to long-term sustainment across a complex Microsoft Cloud-based application landscape. You will be Team Lead and responsible for production environment operations and release calendar, responsible for keeping all client applications running uninterrupted and managing the continued delivery of enhancements to live applications. Over the life of the program, your work will cover an ever-growing share of the portfolio as you cover the full operations, maintenance, and continued extension of the applications.

Required Skills

  • At least 8 years of hands-on experience working in a Microsoft based IT operations environment with increasing responsibility
  • Hands-on experience and deep infrastructure knowledge of Microsoft Cloud platforms, including Azure and Power Platform
  • Ability to work closely with program and technical leadership to appropriately plan the full downstream lifecycle of application management
  • Significant experience establishing and managing Microsoft software Operations and Maintenance team procedures including ticketing, escalation, remediation, and postmortem review
  • Experience with using one or more ITSM solutions to maintain appropriate standards of service for end user

Desirable Skills

  • Experience using and monitoring automated test cases in CI/CD pipelines (specifically, Selenium and Easy Repro)
  • Experience managing complex service topologies with containerized deployment (Kubernetes or AKS, ideally)
  • Experience with Microsoft Power Platform development and solution management approaches
  • Familiarity with PowerApps Build Tools for Azure DevOps
  • Active Public Trust Clearance
