Power Platform, M365, SharePoint Administrator

Position Description

The Power Platform Administrator will be part of the enterprise platform support team responsible for monitoring, maintaining, upgrading, and enhancing a department wide platform supporting over 200,000 users. The Power Platform Admin will have responsibilities, such as:

  • Provide administration support (access management, license management, environment provisioning, capacity management, etc.) for Power Platform, Microsoft 365, and Azure Government products
  • Support the Microsoft Power Platform and SharePoint governance activities 
  • Follow the established standard operating procedures to patch non-production and production environments for workloads running within Azure IaaS
  • Address platform tickets related to issues/findings for IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS
  • Coordinate with external teams when troubleshooting network, firewall, and active directory issues
  • Assist solution development teams with implementing DevOps CI/CD pipeline activities such as solution packaging and promotion across different environments
  • Configure and manage no-code power automate flows for routine workflow requirements. Also, support development teams with deploying workflow solutions
  • Address SharePoint site provisioning requests
  • Ensure environments complies with the agency security hardening requirements
  • Monitor SharePoint content database backups to ensure they are being completed as per the schedule, and performance periodic consistency checks
  • Support change management process and root cause analysis documentation
  • Develop PowerShell scripts for routine maintenance tasks

Required Skills

  • At least 6 years of experience supporting enterprise SharePoint and/or Microsoft Cloud platforms
  • Strong knowledge of the Power Platform Environment administration, and working with the admin portals
  • Experience as a SharePoint Farm Admin, including performing installations, patching, disaster recovery, etc.
  • Demonstrated understanding of Power Platform and Microsoft 365 user license management
  • Strong knowledge of the Power Platform Environment and Power product provisioning
  • Strong knowledge of the Power Platform Environment Governance
  • Strong understanding of Dataverse, model-driven Power app, and corresponding programmability and extensibility
  • Experienced with Power Automate implementations
  • Experienced in managing Dataverse/Dynamics 365 solutions management (managed/unmanaged) and implementing CI/CD automation with Power Apps, Power Automate, and Dataverse/Dynamics 365 first-party apps
  • Experience troubleshooting network, firewall, and active directory issues
  • Experience with PowerShell scripting
  • Experience with SharePoint migrations

Desirable Skills

  • Microsoft certifications
  • Hands-on experience developing custom solutions using Power Apps (canvas and model-driven), Dataverse, Dynamics 365, and Azure Platform as a Service
  • Experience supporting federal government customers
  • Active federal government public trust clearance
