Dynamics 365 Administrator / Developer

Position Description

The Dynamics Administrator and Developer will be a member of an enterprise platform support team that maintains, enhances and supports development on Microsoft platforms. They will help ensure a high performing platform that supports dozens of mission critical Dynamics based applications used by offices across the organization. They will also support development teams to ensure best practices and standards are followed and to lend Dynamics expertise. Specific duties include the following:

  • Monitor Dynamics and SharePoint applications on the shared services platform to ensure availability.
  • Detect and correct process errors, system job failures, and performance bottlenecks that may emerge from Dynamics, SharePoint, and custom integrations.
  • Provide technical analysis and support to Dynamics team members, administrators, users, system specialists, project managers, and development teams to maintain existing and future applications as necessary.

Required Skills

  • At least 5 years of experience working with Dynamics 365 / CRM in an administrator or developer role
  • Experience with Dynamics 2015/2016 (on prem), as well as Dynamics 365 (on line) applications
  • Demonstrated experience customizing and configuration Dynamics 365 / CRM applications
  • Excellent analytical skills to be able to quickly determine the cause of a problem and how best to restore normal operation
  • Significant experience working with MS Visual Studio, the Dynamics SDK, C#, plugins, JavaScript, workflows, business processes, solutions, CRM email, CRM forms, metadata, custom processes and integrations, and third-party tools like Ribbon Workbench & XrmToolBox
  • Experience working with custom developed applications on the Dynamics platform (e.g., xRM, model driven Power Apps)

Desirable Skills

  • - Microsoft Dynamics certifications
  • Experience working for federal government customers
  • Active federal government public trust clearance
