SharePoint Developer

Position Description

The SharePoint Developer will implement SharePoint 2013 based solutions, with eventual migration to SharePoint 2019. They will work on a large program and support one or more development projects on Agile delivery teams. Solutions will be developed to support a range of business needs which may involve collaboration, workflow, content management, document management, or business intelligence / reporting. Additional job functions include:

  • Assess business process and suitability for solution implementation using the SharePoint platform
  • Design and develop solutions for SharePoint that take advantage of standard web technologies, such as CSOM, REST, JavaScript, and OData
  • Design, develop, customize team sites, libraries, lists, views, and workflows
  • Provide support and guidance to users on SharePoint features and functionalities
  • Attend internal and external customer meetings as required
  • Provide technical advice to team members and customers on best practices for SharePoint development
  • Develop and deliver requirements and design documents

Required Skills

  • At least 6 years of experience working on IT systems development projects
  • At least 4 years of experience working as a SharePoint Developer, with experience in SharePoint 2013, 2016, or 2019
  • Experience designing and developing complex business applications in SharePoint 2013/2016/2019
  • SharePoint experience must include designer and custom workflows, JSOM, CSOM, JavaScript, JQuery, CAML, and branding customization
  • Experienced with JavaScript, including JQuery and AngularJS.
  • Excellent customer service and communications skills
  • Analytical skills to discover business problems, identify possible causes, and design quick and effective solutions

Desirable Skills

  • SharePoint Certification
  • Experience with SharePoint 2019 or SharePoint Online
  • Experience working with Federal Government customers
  • Active Federal Government Public Trust Clearance
