QA / Tester

Position Description

The Quality Assurance (QA) Tester will be part of an Agile team.  They will review and analyze system specifications, execute manual test cases, and analyze results.  They will track defects through their adjudication.  They will help troubleshoot Production issues and conduct post-release/post-implementation testing.

Required Skills

  • 15 years minimum IT experience, or Masters
  • 5+ years performing on Agile teams
  • Participate in the architecture and design features early in the development cycle, influencing it to drive quality and adherence to the specification
  • Assist in the planning, creation, and control of the test environment(s)
  • Excellent experience with SQL queries and Visual Studio
  • Superior verbal and written communication skills
  • Interpret conceptual, logical, and physical data models

Desirable Skills

  • Microsoft Test Manager (MTM) a plus, but not required
