Microsoft Developer

Position Description

The developers will be part of a team that will architect and deploy a new data and application development platform on the Microsoft Cloud. The new platform will be used to consolidate numerous legacy applications onto a modern, integrated platform. The developers will work with architects and analysts to understand requirements, design the data and application components and implement the necessary software and tools to establish the new platform. They will then incrementally design and develop the new system by re-platforming legacy functionality and migrating data and applications to Microsoft based platform. Developers will use Microsoft Azure services, Dynamics 365, .NET Core, Cosmos DB, Angular and other open source JavaScript frameworks to create a modern, flexible platform and applications.

Required Skills

  • At least 3 years of experience designing and developing Microsoft based solutions
  • Experience developing on the Microsoft Azure Cloud and knowledgeable of Azure ServiceFabric
  • Experience with Dynamics 365 and/or .NET Core
  • Experience with JavaScript frameworks, preferably Angular
  • Experience with NoSQL databases, preferably CosmosDB or MongoDB
  • Highly knowledgeable on SOA and web services
  • Experienced working on Agile Scrum development teams

Desirable Skills

  • Azure certification
  • Dynamics 365 certification
  • Federal Government consulting experience
  • Active Federal Government public trust clearance
