Lead SharePoint Analyst

Position Description

The Lead SharePoint Analyst will be the primary liaison between Product Owners/business stakeholders and the technical team. They will serves as the Scrum Master across multiple development teams that are performing upgrades, enhancements and maintenance for the SharePoint platform and various business applications. They will provide guidance and oversight to multiple, small development teams. They will lead the interaction with various business stakeholders to gather, organize, and evaluate business requirements. They will have responsibility to gather requirements and maintain the user story backlog based on requests for enhancements and requirements for new applications. They will gain understanding of the business functionality of the SharePoint applications to facilitate testing. They will perform quality assurance and testing during SharePoint application upgrades and new deployments.

Required Skills

  • At least 5 years of experience working as a business or systems analyst on IT application development projects
  • Experience working on SharePoint application development projects
  • Strong experience with SharePoint configuration / out-of-the-box development
  • Experience working on Agile Scrum teams
  • Experience with business requirements gathering, analysis and evaluation
  • Experience translating high level business requirements into user stories
  • Experience working with developers during systems design and development activities
  • Experience developing test cases and performing system testing for SharePoint or web based applications
  • Strong oral and written communication skills and a proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite

Desirable Skills

  • Federal Government Consulting experience
  • Federal Government Public Trust Clearance
  • Certified Scrum Master
