OpenText eDOCS Developer

Position Description

The OpenText eDOCS developer will be responsible for supporting the overall Document Management (DM) and Records Management (RM) environment. They will develop enhancements to the system based on customer requests or the need for new interfaces or applications requiring eDOCS integration. They will work with the operations team to resolve Tier 3 technical support, trouble shoot complex technical issues, develop reports and support major upgrades or releases. They will work with the eDOCS technical lead and configuration manager to create new eDOCS DM client package, migrate packages to new environments and participate in release management activities. They will support information security activities, including investigating security vulnerabilities, determining remediation actions and supporting authority to operate (ATO) activities. They will develop and maintain contingency plans.

Required Skills

  • At least 4 years of experience in a technical / developer role for enterprise software applications
  • Experience with development of solutions using OpenText eDOCS software, including the majority of the following components:
    • OpenText eDOCS Document Management (DM)
    • OpenText eDOCS Records Management (RM)
    • OpenText Enterprise Library Services
    • OpenText Business Intelligence
    • OpenText Content Server
    • OpenText eDOCS Email Filing
    • OpenText SeeUnity Core Integration Server
    • OpenText SeeUnity Fusion Web Connect
    • OpenText SeeUnity EchoSync
    • OpenText DM OTRM for eDOCS
  • Strong knowledge of the eDOCS database structures, including experience writing database procedures, queries and reports

Desirable Skills

  • Experience working with SQL Server Database
  • Java experience
  • SQL Server Reporting Services experience
  • Federal Government consulting experience
  • Federal Government Public Trust clearance
