SharePoint Developer

Position Description

The SharePoint Developer will build applications using SharePoint Designer, JavaScript, JQuery and Power Platform. They will work closely with business user to develop solutions, drive adoption of SharePoint and Power Platform, assist with migrating SharePoint solutions from on-premises (2016/2019) to SharePoint Online, and provide user support.  Specific responsibilities include:

  • Design and develop apps for SharePoint 2019 and Microsoft 365 utilizing Power Platform
  • Analyzing current SharePoint 2013 applications and provide guidance on effective migration path to SharePoint 2019 and Power Platform
  • Maintain SharePoint 2013 & 2019 OOTB solutions with customizations in JavaScript/JQuery and potentially port these over to Power Platform
  • Adhere to architectural, agile and development standards as defined by development leadership
  • Design solutions based on established patterns and best practices around Content Management, User Adoption, Governance and Change Management
  • Design and develop content management, records management, workflows, business intelligence type of solutions using the SharePoint 2019 platform

Required Skills

  • At least 4 years of experience designing and building SharePoint based business applications
  • At least 1 year experience with Power Platform
  • Understanding of SharePoint 2019 and Office 365/SharePoint Online
  • SharePoint experience must include designer and custom workflows, JavaScript, JQuery, Power Platform, navigation, and branding & customization

Desirable Skills

  • Experience developing apps using SPFX extensions and webparts that utilize custom and OOTB REST endpoints
  • Experience developing react spa applications with Fluent UI and Typescript
  • Experience developing .Net Core or Web API services using C#, CSOM and EF
  • Experience with Typescript
  • Experience using Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate)
  • SharePoint or .Net developer certifications
