Help Desk Specialist

Position Description

This position is focused on providing end user support for Dynamics CRM & SharePoint-based business systems. Responsibilities include:

  • Research, compile, process, and coordinate project data e.g. data entry, report generation, and work plans
  • Maintains current knowledge of relevant technologies as assigned
  • Provide Tier II & III help desk support for solutions built using Dynamics CRM and SharePoint
  • Provision accounts, manage permission and address user training needs
  • Provides end-user software troubleshooting support
  • Applies advanced diagnostic techniques to identify problems, investigate causes, and recommend solutions
  • Provides phone support for local and field users
  • Update standard operating procedure and knowledge base
  • Tailor documentation based on the audience’s existing knowledge about the material they are discussing
  • Assists with providing quality control / proofreading / editing documents / communications

Required Skills

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience providing help desk support for systems built using Microsoft technologies
  • Hands-on experience using Dynamics CRM, SharePoint and Microsoft Office Suite of applications
  • Excellent customer service and communications skills
  • Critical thinking, complex problem solving, and judgment and decision making ability
  • Must have a strong work ethic and be detail-oriented with excellent organizational and multitasking skills
  • Candidate selected must be a U.S. Citizen per contractual requirements. Must be able to obtain and maintain government eligibility requirements and must meet U.S. Citizenship requirements. Must be able to successfully complete a background investigation, Position of Public Trust, Non-Sensitive Positions

Desirable Skills


  • Experience with users management with Active Directory
