Today we are pleased to announce the formalization of our Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR). Our CSR is comprised of various steps, procedures and guiding principles that outline the company's responsibility with respect to our employees, the communities in which we operate, our clients and the environment as a whole.
The CSR underscores our commitment to provide a reputable, people-centric, engaged, successful organization and to conduct business with integrity, fairness and with the highest ethical standards. Additionally, the CSR strives to encourage a productive and enjoyable harmony between our workforce and the environment. This is achieved by promoting the prevention or elimination of any activities which may cause harm or irreparable damage to the environment and by enriching our understanding of the ecological systems and natural resources important to the world.
As part of our CSR development, Procentrix conducted an environmental management audit at the end of CY 2011. Analysis of our business processes identified seven targeted areas which the company will work toward in CY 2012 as follows:
