​Contract Overview

TIPSS-4 (Total Information Processing Support Services) is a multiple award, Indefinite-Delivery/Indefinite-Quantity (IDIQ) IT contract supporting all U.S. Treasury bureaus, the largest of which is the IRS. The IRS has many legacy tax systems that require many different maintenance and update services. The ​contractors' principal task area will be to provide support for design, development, deployment, operations and maintenance of IRS IT Systems; all aspects of systems security such as conducting risk analysis, development of recommendations and implementations, plans for new procedures and changes to existing systems, project management skills and tools for managing, tracking, reporting, transitioning large-scale systems; and for maintaining configuration management controls. The work includes tasks in approximately 40 different specialties in four main functional categories: IT Development, Operations and Maintenance, Cyber Security, and Program Management.
